The Tsugi Shelf for Carl Hansen & Søn was designed with equal focus on form and function. The apparently simple shelf exploits the principles of the ingenious and precise Japanese Sashimono carpentry, concealing the locking mechanism without visible transitions.

The shelf has a maximum load of 30kg. per shelf. That is if two shelves are placed in extension of each other, they must each carry 30 kg. It has the following dimensions:
